Kaelen Johnson has worked in the health and medical spa industry since 1993 providing herbal wraps, body treatments, facials, cosmetic applications, laser hair removal, and corrective makeup procedures. Her aesthetic experience includes almost 15 years at Canyon Ranch Spa and over 5 years at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort Spa. She has also been an educator for Essensa, an exclusive line of organic skincare products. Her training includes an apprenticeship with Bliss Spa, New York. Kaelen holds aesthetician licenses in both Arizona and New York in addition to an aesthetics instructor license in Arizona. She has spoken at national skincare conferences as well as written articles for industry trade magazines.
In 2014 Kaelen launched her line of passion since the early nineties has been seeking out truly natural products. As a result of this long time desire, in 2014 Kaelen’s vision came to fruition in the release of her own organic line, Kaelen Harwell. Her goal is to increase awareness of ecological responsibility and holistic approaches to health and well-being. This and the need for a quality Aesthetics school led her to open Pure Aesthetics.
Sarah is our resident financial aid expert. Her experience in student services and financial aid dates back to 2005. Students are encouraged to visit with Sarah if they have questions or concerns in regards to their education at Pure Aesthetics so that they may have the best school experience possible. Sarah enjoys kickball, camping, reading and seeing our students achieve success in their chosen career paths.
Kristina Daniels will bring a smile to your face as she guides you through the Pure Aesthetics school application and admissions process. She is committed to providing information and support as prospective students navigate the field of Aesthetics. As a graduate from Pure Aesthetics, she has an insider’s perspective into classes and how to balance family, work and school while achieving an aesthetics license. Having a background as a counselor whose managed vocational placements and training provides her the expertise to assist graduates with resume development, job skills training and placement within the field of skincare. When she isn’t assisting our current and prospective students, you can find Kristina outside with the trees and flowers, or blending aromatherapy potions to improve the health of others.
Meredith Keller is a licensed aesthetician and business graduate who strives to combine her passion for skin care and education with the essential organizational skills needed to assist in the success of Pure Aesthetics. Meredith has worked in the spa industry off and on for 25 years in New Orleans, Spain and Tucson. As a graduate from Pure Aesthetics, she has first-hand experience about the excellence Pure Aesthetics offers and is honored to be a part of such a great team. In her free time, Meredith enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, painting, practicing yoga and giving her two young daughters facials!
Lead Aesthetics Instructor
Lindsay graduated from Artistic Beauty College in Tucson, Arizona in 2007. Throughout her aesthetics career she has worked at European Wax Center, Rubs and Beauty Brands where she received her Lash Extension Certification and worked as a Master Aesthetician and trainer for two years. After her lash certification she decided to become an independent contractor and built her own clientele as an aesthetician and lash artist. Her love of skincare and aesthetics pushed her to share her passion and knowledge so she earned her instructor license in October of 2016 and joined the Pure Aesthetics team.
Brook graduated from Cameo College of Essential Beauty in Salt Lake City, Utah in November of 2007 with a License in Master Aesthetics, Medical Aesthetics, and Aesthetics Instruction. Her other certifications include Laser Technician, Microneedling, Dermaplaning, Lash Artistry and other advanced skincare modalities. She loves teaching students about customized skin care regimens and the benefits of professional aesthetic treatments. In her personal time, she does Pilates, likes walking at the local park, and cooking healthy organic meals to provide energy for teaching.

Spa Coordinator Supervisor
Gypsy is a licensed aesthetician and Pure Aesthetics graduate. Since completing the aesthetics program in 2010, she worked in several spas, including Massage Envy and Rubs Massage Studio, and has experience in eyebrow and facial threading. She is passionate about health and the environment and completed a degree in Sustainable Built Environments at the University of Arizona. Gypsy joined Pure Aesthetics in November of 2016; she is looking forward to continued work with such a wonderful and supportive team.
Misha is a licensed aesthetician and Pure Aesthetics alum, who joined the team in January of 2017, shortly after graduation. He loves the school’s holistic approach to skincare, the amazing staff and wants to play a part in helping people feel beautiful both inside and out. He is an Army reservist who loves business strategy, writing and art, and is also involved in Infinite Man Summit. He hopes to add massage therapy to his certifications, and combine his passions to help people find the best version of themselves.
Sofia is a Senior at Tucson High School and interned at Kaelen Harwell during the summer before her Junior year, where she was educated on the importance of holistic, organic skin care. She now applies that knowledge in her work behind the front desk at Pure Aesthetics! Sofia is passionate about health and wellness, and loves working for a business that shares those values. Sofia hopes to attend college in the pacific northwest next fall, where she plans to major in Journalism and continue her learning in holistic wellness.
